Ingredients
- 2 ounces Orange Blossom Special Whisky
- 0.5 ounces sweet vermouth
- 0.3 ounces honey syrup
- 2 Angostura bitters
- 1 pieces large ice cube
Steps
Combine ingredients: Add 2 ounces Orange Blossom Special Whisky, 0.5 ounces sweet vermouth, 0.3 ounces honey syrup, and 2 Angostura bitters to a mixing glass filled with ice.
Stir for 30 seconds 00:30 until well chilled.
Strain and garnish: Strain over 1 pieces large ice cube in a rocks glass. Express an orange peel over the glass, run it around the rim, and drop it in as garnish.
Notes
Honey syrup is simply equal parts honey and warm water, stirred until combined. The large ice cube melts slowly, keeping the drink cold without diluting it too quickly.
