Hansen Distillery didn’t start in a boardroom. It started in sheds and backyard stills — a family tradition of making shine the honest way, with nothing but patience, fire, and a stubborn belief that good whisky has to earn its name.
What began as a local obsession became Edmonton’s own whisky workshop. We’ve been pushing Canadian craft distilling forward ever since — not quietly, not politely, but with heart and flavour and a whole lot of Alberta pride.
Today, our whisky is rooted in local grain, aged in oak, and bottled with purpose. Not just a family history. A Canadian whisky story we want to share.
