Prairie Mule

A crisp, bubbly highball that’s easy to make and even easier to drink.

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces Orange Blossom Special Whisky
  • 4 ounces ginger beer
  • 0.5 ounces fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoons apricot jam
  • 1 cups ice

Steps

Mix base: In a highball glass, combine 2 ounces Orange Blossom Special Whisky, 0.5 ounces fresh lemon juice, and 1 teaspoons apricot jam. Stir until the jam dissolves.

Add ice: Fill the glass with 1 cups ice.

Top and garnish: Top with 4 ounces ginger beer and stir gently once. Garnish with a lemon wheel and a sprig of fresh thyme.

Notes

Use a good quality ginger beer like Fever-Tree for the best result. The apricot jam adds a subtle sweetness that ties the fruit notes together beautifully.
