Sitting on a covered porch watching an Alberta storm roll in, electricity crackling in the distance, whisky in your glass. We’ve blended sweet and sour cherries with our infamous Northern Eyes rye whisky; creating a balance of spicy and sweetness that leaves whispers of cherry, marzipan, and brown sugar on the exhale. Perfect to sip on its own, mixed into a classic Manhattan, or mixed with cola for a Hansen spin on classic cherrycoke.

Nose: Bright, cooked cherries, moving into a hint of toasted barrel and black pepper.

Finish: Slight astringency from the barrel tannins, keeping the sweetness in check.

Palate: A sophisticated cherry pie note, moving into classic barreled-rye whisky flavours of vanilla and pepper. This expression is not washed out by the cherry, allowing the two profiles to mesh into an approachable, but elevated flavoured whisky.
